Loan Officer

The Loan Officer will be responsible for the development of new business, and the closing of mortgage loans.  Willing to train in the mortgage business.


Job Responsibilities:

Taking inbound calls/making outbound calls and working with clients by placing them in one of our wide array of products

Educating borrowers on the loan process from beginning to end

Maintaining in-depth knowledge of VA, USDA, FHA, and Conventional loan programs

Support our strong client relationship culture through on-going client contact, quality customer service and superior product knowledge.


Successful Candidates will have:

Current NMLS registration and Michigan license, preferred.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment and prioritize multiple high-priority projects to ensure all deadlines are met.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional and ethical manner.

Highest level of integrity with excellent customer service.

At least two years of previous success in a similar role in order to be considered, however willing to train the right individual in the mortgage business.


It is absolutely vital for the loan officer to be very self-driven and full of initiative. Having a strong work ethic is essential to making money and ultimately being successful in this role.


Compensation – $30-40,000 per year plus commission.
